AgilePM® Online

Agile Project Management is characterised by self-empowered teams delivering products incrementally with a focus on early delivery. Considering the uncertainty of achieving success in any project, it is therefore important to start delivering results as early in the project as possible to ‘prove’ the worth of the project to its stakeholders. Agile projects fix Time, Cost and Quality at the early phases of the project and contingency is managed by developing a clear view of priorities (Scope / Features) in collaboration with the business.

This framework also provides a much-needed Agile governance structure to direct and oversee the project in order to ensure the incremental delivery achieves the desired results, and thereby value, providing an opportunity for reinvestment.

Some of AgilePM’s major benefits are:

  • The use of iterative development provides value early – early return on investment
  • Through the use of iterative development, the business is better able to direct development of the solution, and is more likely to feel ownership of the solution as it evolves and as it transitions into live use
  • The greater focus on working with business stakeholders ensures that the right solution is delivered. The risk of building the wrong solution is greatly reduced, and the final solution is more likely to meet the real business need
  • Prioritisation enables a project to be delivered on time and within budget, whilst protecting the quality of what is being delivered
  • Deployment is more likely to go smoothly due to the co-operation of all parties concerned throughout development
