Facilitation Training & Certification

Facilitation has become essential as we move away from a ‘command and control’ approach to work more collaboratively. With the facilitation skills you develop from our Facilitation Certification you can get decisions made faster, gain firmer commitment, and monopolise on the skills and knowledge of your group.

A good facilitator will make progress easier by skilfully enabling a smoother process for interactions that lead to quality decisions, greater buy-in and commitment. This increases the group’s productivity, resolves issues earlier and improves the delivery of organisational goals.

This International Facilitation training & Certification provides knowledge and understanding of the Process Iceberg® methodology, it is a robust framework to enable specialists and managers to facilitate effectively.

The Facilitation event is a must for anyone who wants to maximize the outcome of workshops and meetings.

Facilitation is a common word used in a variety of different contexts. However, ‘being a facilitator’ for a group and ‘facilitating meetings or events’ requires key skills and a deep knowledge of the principles and concepts involved.

Facilitation is an output-orientated methodology, therefore a hard-edged skill. It is NOT a soft skill – it is not about soothing people, group dynamics, behavioural changes or team building. It does not mean that Facilitators are not interested in people, but it means the people in the room are a resource to get something done – to achieve an objective.

Tony Mann, who has been working in the field of facilitation for over 20 years, has developed a robust methodology that provides the structure and a variety of Models, Tools and Techniques to enable specialists and managers to be able to facilitate effectively.

The Process Iceberg® methodology is being applied in a wide variety of organizations and scenarios and its pragmatic, practical approach has gained a wide range of adherents in the public, private and charity sectors, both in the UK and internationally.

This event is a highly interactive and fun experience with tons of practical sessions, individual and team exercises that encourage delegate participation through structured hands-on activities while maintaining a good pace throughout the event. The incredibly enthusiastic facilitator is accredited by the APM Group and has many years of experience.
